IIT-JEE (Advanced) 2013 results declared @ http://jee.iitd.ac.in/

The Joint Entrance Examination result for the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) was declared on Friday, two days ahead of schedule. The students can check their results here

Only the top 1,50,000 students in JEE(Main) were allowed to sit for the JEE (Advanced) exam, which was held on June 2, 2013 (through offline).

The JEE (Advanced)-2013 examination included two objective type papers. Each paper consisted of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Admissions to IITs will be based only on category wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced) subject to the condition that such candidates are in the top 20 percentile of successful candidates of their Boards in applicable categories.

The 16 IITs are IIT-Bhubaneshwar, IIT-Bombay, IIT-Delhi, IIT-Gandhinagar, IIT-Guwahati, IIT-Hyderabad, IIT-Indore, IIT-Kanpur, IIT-Kharagpur, IIT-Madras, IIT-Mandi, IIT-Patna, IIT-Rajasthan, IIT-Roorkee, IIT-Ropar and IIT-Varanasi.

IIT Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi and Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad along with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Rae Bareli, Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) at Bhopal, Kolkata, Mohali, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram and Indian Maritime University (TS Chanakya, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai campus, Marine Engineering & Research Institute, Kolkata, National Maritime Academy, Chennai, Marine Engineering and Research Institute, Mumbai and Visakhapatnam) also take in students on the basis of JEE results.

The Eamcet Marks will be Released First and Ranks will be given Later based on the inter marks. Pass Marks For EAMCET is 40. SC & ST Reservation Canditates are Qualified as if the appear for exam. But for Medical and Dental Courses they should get 50% marks that is 80 marks to qualify for all students.


Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

James Gandolfini dead at 51: Pictures of actor's last supper shows him looking healthy l The 'Sopranos' star was snapped dining at an Italian restaurant just hours before his fatal heart attack.

The last photos taken of James Gandolfini show “The Sopranos” star dining in Rome, apparently relaxed and enjoying the company of others at an al fresco table.

The pictures were taken Tuesday night in the heart of the Eternal City. Less than 24 hours later, Gandolfini was dead.

In one photo, snapped by an American tourist sitting at a nearby table, the 51-year-old Gandolfini is dressed in a casual dark blue shirt, enjoying an evening meal at the Sabatini restaurant off Rome’s Piazza Santa Maria.

He appears to be eating a plate of the restaurant’s freshly made gnocchi as tourists stroll the piazza admiring a historic fountain.

Just five days earlier, a seemingly healthy and happy Gandolfini spoke excitedly about his upcoming father-son Italian vacation.

The Emmy-winning actor known worldwide for his role as Tony Soprano was stoked last Friday at an eighth-grade graduation party for his 13-year-old son, Michael, said family friend Carole Marini.

Kahn said that Gandolfini looked happy and healthy, enjoying a meal with his family. Mere hours later, Gandolfini had a massive, fatal heart attack.

“There was no sign of trouble,” added Marini, wife of “Dancing With the Stars” veteran Gilles Marini. “For us, it was a shock.”

After Gandolfini’s son found his dad in their room, doctors waged a desperate 40-minute battle to revive the hulking star before declaring him dead.

The extraordinary Wednesday night effort by medical teams in the ambulance and emergency room included heart massage — but they couldn’t save Gandolfini’s life.

“The patient was considered dead on arrival,” said Dr. Claudio Modini, the emergency room chief.

An autopsy was planned to determine if the 260-pound actor’s bulk or hard-partying past played any role in his sudden demise, as members of his HBO family continued to lavish praise on his life and work.
